Temporary and Seasonal 

The proposed site is meant to be only temporary for two years and only to be used in the summer months. It is also meant to be limited to one family. However:

The current “temporary sites" at Matlock Station and Matlock Bath have been occupied for 6 and 3 years respectively.  The Derbyshire Dales District Council have been looking for a permanent traveller site for well over ten years and so are unlikely to find a permanent site within the proposed two years.

The status could easily be changes into a permanent site through further planning

It takes significant time to move travellers on from a site if they wish to say. By the time this happens the winter months could easily pass making it effectively a permanent site

The size of a single family is not specified. Problems have arisen at other sites when other uninvited travellers have joined resident families, expanding sites significantly.
